    Visiting Medalist Golf Club 

    If you plan to visit Medalist Golf Club with a member of the Club, we want you to have the information you need to enjoy the culture of this special place.

    • Proper Attire
        • In order to maintain the traditional decorum of golf, members and their guests must be dressed in appropriate golf attire.
        • Proper length shorts are permitted on the course, and golf or sport shirts are required (no tank tops or T-shirts).
        • Ladies may not wear short shorts, tank tops or halter tops.
    • Rental Clubs
        • Medalist Golf Club has complete sets of loaner clubs available for a rental fee. Please inquire at the Golf Shop, (772) 545-9600.
    • Lightning Policy
        • For the protection of members and guests, Medalist Golf Club has installed the Thor Guard Lightning Prediction System.
        • As dangerous conditions approach, a continuous siren will sound, warning players to seek shelter immediately.
        • Evacuation of the course is mandatory during this time. Shelters are located on holes 4 and 15.
        • When threatening conditions have passed, an all-clear signal of three short siren blasts will signal that play can continue.
        • All members and guests, however are responsible for their own safety and protection from lightning.
    • Cellular Phone Use
        • The use of cellular phones is allowed on Medalist property. Please be courteous and respectful of other members and their guests.
